Its art and stories have had a particularly profound cultural impact on the western world.
The classic Greek tragedy is seen in many of its stories.
Whether it be Kore’s kidnapping, the labors of Heracles, or Pandora’s box.
There is often tragedy accompanied by hope, and hope accompanied by tragedy.
The Greek pantheon sees not to remedy these losses, but to see the light within them.
To take the hope given and transform it into something new.
